Turns out, tech skills are the most valued by global employers in UAE and 14 other countries

Compiled from data over the year, starting from January, the professional network has published the top skills employers looked for in 2016. The methodology used grouping of skills (from the professional profiles) and looked at the trends in hiring activity from January to September.
And the best part? LinkedIn is celebrating the Week of Learning from October 24 to 30 with over 5000 courses from their learning academy, being offered free to professionals for this week. Visit their official page for more details.
The UAE job market is showing a very high demand for tech skills with four out of the top five being technological skills. There is also a high demand for ‘Public Policy and International Relations’ emphasising the importance given by the UAE to judicial and international matters. ‘Corporate Law and Governance’ came in tenth place while ‘Renewable and Sustainable Energy’ made the list for the first time this year bringing credibility to the country’s 2020 vision.
