Astrologer Shelly von Strunckel reveals what’s in the stars for you today
Aries (March 20 – April 18)
Sometimes you’ll battle until you win or lose. But if you backed off in clashes regarding certain contentious matters recently, it’s now becoming clear how clever that strategy was. Sudden changes are forcing those who refused even to discuss your ideas to admit they were wise, and to go along with your plans.
Taurus (April 19 – May 19)
Obviously you’ll do all you can to avoid causing others difficulty or upset when undertaking certain changes. But their complaints make it seem that’s exactly what you’re doing, and wilfully. Apologise once, and graciously. They’ve been behind equally disruptive changes in the past, and you’ve done your best to cope. They can, too.
Gemini (May 20 – June 20)
The term ‘facing facts’ may sound worrying. But what you’re learning as a result of certain somewhat challenging discussions is worth the discomfort of coming to grips with problems. Now that you finally know what’s what, you can devise a strategy to put these increasingly complicated situations to rest, once and for all.
Cancer (June 21 – July 21)
While on the surface the decisions you’re making seem straightforward, and final, you sense they’re only temporary. You’re right. Your Cancerian instincts are correctly telling you that with two eclipses, one on the 19th and the second in early November, shaking things up, any plans you make should be regarded as tentative.
Leo (July 22 – August 21)
During this complex week, it will probably seem you’re running into one problem after another. It’s only when you look back on what you learnt, faced and dealt with, that you’ll realise those weren’t problems as much as they forced you to tackle situations that have been a persistent source of concern.
Virgo (August 22 – September 21)
The past day or so was likely to have been both puzzling and tricky. Those situations that challenged your knowledge or your thoroughness were triggered by the encounter between your ruler Mercury and cautious, stern Saturn. Obviously, this wasn’t easy. But what you learned from it will considerably sharpen your thinking.
Libra (September 22 – October 22)
Nobody is better at making others feel important than a Libra. You’ll seek and listen to their suggestions. In one particular situation, however, you’ve already made a decision, so are listening to be polite. The individual in question will sense this. Explain frankly the decision’s been made and leave it at that.
Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)
Those who ignore details when planning are bad enough. However, they’re now denying responsibility for the resulting problems, which has you seething. In this case, they not only couldn’t have anticipated changes, developments were so sudden nothing could be done about them. Instead of your irritation, the individual in question deserves your sympathy.
Sagittarius (November 22 – December 20)
It may have been an excess of enthusiasm or perhaps you miscalculated the time other commitments would require. Whatever the case, you’re now in a difficult position. Tempting as it is to make it all work out, as you’ve done before, you’ll only complicate matters. Don’t just inform others, ask for their help.
Capricorn (December 21 – January 18)
Although the recent New Moon was about adopting a fresh perspective, those around you have little enthusiasm for exploring new ideas. Don’t let their lack of enthusiasm keep you from broadening your horizons, even if it’s only out of interest. Unimportant as what you learn now seems, it could soon prove crucial.
Aquarius (January 19 – February 17)
It’s no surprise if you’re still mulling over the unsettling facts triggered by Mercury’s recent encounter with the tough-minded Saturn. Urgent as these seem, with Mercury meeting Saturn two more times before the end of the year, there’s still plenty left to no means has everything come to light. Knowing that, ensure any plans are flexible.
Pisces (February 18 – March 19)
If you’ve been paying attention to the lunar cycle, you’ll know that next week there’ll not only be a Full Moon, but the first of two eclipses. Since these usher in both shake-ups in the short term and much needed breakthroughs in the long run, ensure any plans you make now are flexible.
