Horoscopes for Monday December 30

Your stars: Are you facing disruptive events,on the edge, or will be just fine?

Last updated:

Aries March 20 – April 18

You’ve a capacity to be extremely stubborn, often more because you’re annoyed at the manner of an individual or way something’s been handled than the issue itself. Do this now and you’ll only cause yourself problems. Go with the flow. This may seem a compromise now but you’ll be glad you did.

Taurus April 19 – May 19

In early November, your ruling planet Venus moved into the most expansive angle of your chart, you began a lengthy cycle of exploration. While what you’ve learned since then has been fascinating, you haven’t always recognised the benefits. Now, finally, the sudden and often dramatic changes currently taking place make that clear.

Gemini May 20 – June 20

Last week your ruler Mercury moved to join the Sun, Venus and the uncompromising Pluto in accenting vital practical matters. And now, without much time to think about it, you’re being confronted about your views. If unsure of your facts, say nothing. This isn’t the moment to rely on guesswork.

Cancer June 21 – July 21

It’s unusual the New Moon takes place on New Years Day. But not only is that the case, because it’s in your opposite sign of Capricorn, you and those closest will benefit from the accompanying fresh perspective. Thus you might want to put off any resolutions until you’ve had a chance to reflect on these.

Leo July 22 – August 21

Over the coming week your ruler the Sun will angle with the unpredictable Uranus, Pluto, planet of power struggles, the hot-headed Mars and Jupiter. Obviously, things won’t be quiet. Rather than try to deal with the events each triggers, respond where necessary and tell others you need time for reflection. Which you will.

Virgo August 22 – September 21

Obviously you hate being cornered into making a plan or commitment without knowing exactly what’s involved. But as you’ll quickly realise, this week’s fast pace precludes any but the swiftest of discussions. The trick is to make those plans, but in such a way that as more information surfaces, you can change them.

Libra September 22 – October 22

In early December the planet of ego and energy, Mars, moved into Libra for a long stay. During this period, which lasts until late July of 2014, you’ll be exploring new idea and pursuits. Perhaps more important, you’ll have a need to challenge yourself, questioning whether what once meant so much still does.

Scorpio October 23 – November 21

If you haven’t already decided to go along with the sudden and unsettling changes currently being thrust on you, give it serious thought. These may be disruptive. But they’re also part of a more far reaching pattern of growth that will ultimately benefit you hugely. The sooner you get involved, the better.

Sagittarius November 22 – December 20

Many of the exciting ideas and offers promised by mid-December’s encounter between your ruler Jupiter and the practical Saturn may already have been dealt with. But some are more complex and could remain unsettled until late January, when events force those who’ve been hesitant about making commitments to take decisive action.

Capricorn December 21 – January 18

Between recent powerful differences and equally disruptive events, you’re on edge. This, in turn, has made you eager to impose some variety of order on this chaos. Appealing as the thought is, you’re urged to keep any plans loose until after Wednesday’s Capricorn New Moon and the fresh perspective it introduces.

Aquarius January 19 – February 17

The series of clashes you’re facing aren’t the result of a bad mood. Rather, they involve important issues. Learning this will shift your outlook and turn your attention to spotting the source of those problems. While learning that may be all that’s needed, these insights form the ideal foundation for talking those issues through.

Pisces February 18 – March 19

Although you long ago realised that not everybody views life’s rights and wrongs as you do, recent revelations are shocking. When you learn more, you’ll realise the actions of others are justified by the circumstances they were contending with. Still, it’s worth acknowledging their values just aren’t the same as yours.
