Astrologer Shelley von Strunckel reveals what’s in the stars for you today
Aries (March 20 — April 19)
You can’t plan ahead for the unexpected, which is what you’re facing over the coming three weeks, while the communication planet Mercury is retrograde. While some mix-ups will be a nuisance and a few might cause serious problems, just as many will prove amazingly revealing. Enough that you’re thankful they took place.
Taurus (April 20 — May 20)
Usually, progress requires both planning ahead and figuring out ways to break away from old and increasingly burdensome arrangements. Now, however, most of those past arrangements are gone, which may have caused you concern but also frees you to explore freely. What you discover will excite and enchant you.
Gemini (May 21 — June 20)
As much as you enjoy a lively debate, arguments about sensitive matters are something else entirely. However, since you’ve been unable to resolve these, they could easily descend into serious battles. If so, arm yourself with hard facts, to be employed when others begin to get emotional, as they’re bound to.
Cancer (June 21 — July 21)
Unsettling as last minute changes in plan may be, there’s no avoiding them. However, they’re a part of the current cycle of dynamic growth and opportunity that’s currently reshaping your life. Bear that in mind when twists and turns arise, and the odds are good you won’t mind so much.
Leo (July 22 — August 22)
There are decisions. And then there are final decisions, that is, those circumstances in which plans, once committed to, can be neither altered nor changed. With two eclipses shaking things up during October, you’ve plenty of time. In fact, you won’t reach that point of no return until early November.
Virgo (August 23 — September 22)
Obviously you’d rather have all the details before you commit to lasting arrangements. However, when things are moving swiftly, as is now the case, facts are in short supply. And what you know could change, as circumstances do. That being the case, organise things so they can be altered when the need arises.
Libra (September 23 — October 22)
A range of circumstances, some minor and others of a more far-reaching nature, has called your attention to certain once-worthwhile arrangements involving business or finance. While fairly substantial changes are in order, you needn’t make them until October’s second eclipse, on the 23rd, so have plenty of time to explore your options.
Scorpio (October 23 — November 21)
Over the past weeks, events have forced you to focus on certain pivotal but rather dull matters. Finally, they’re nearly resolved, and you’re longing to take a break. That time will come. For now, however, you owe it to yourself to stick to the situations in question. They’ll soon be resolved.
Sagittarius (November 22 — December 20)
It’s no secret. You enjoy a lively exchange of ideas and don’t mind if it becomes somewhat heated. At the moment, however, certain individuals are struggling with problems and, although it may seem they’re eager for a good battle, it’s their anxiety coming out. Treat them gently. They need it.
Capricorn (December 21 — January 19)
Ordinarily you’d never agree to any plan without being sure you can do what you say. But as you’ve undoubtedly noticed, changes in even simple arrangements makes that impossible. The solution is easy. Since others are dealing with these changes, too, agree to meet frequently and discuss the latest twists and turns.
Aquarius (January 20 — February 17)
Everybody is influenced by the period when the ideas planet Mercury is retrograde, or in reverse motion, as it will be until the 25th. Ironically, however, with so much in transition and those changes triggering chaos, what you learn when untangling those errors could reveal valuable facts about those chances.
Pisces (February 18 — March 19)
Although you can give the appearance of being easygoing, when you believe in a plan or an individual, you’ll back them to the hilt. It’s worth reviewing your views and those loyalties. While some are worth keeping, after you’ve asked a few questions, you’ll have to acknowledge others aren’t.
