Astrologer Shelley von Strunckel reveals what’s in the stars for you today

Last updated:

Aries (March 20 – April 18)

When it’s time to make changes, you’ll analyse the situation in question, then take fast action. However, the variety of review demanded by your ruler Mars’ presence in the part of your chart that accents family and domestic issues is more complex and time consuming.

Taurus (April 19 – May 19)

Straightforward as recent arrangements seemed, they’re now coming apart.  That may be disappointing but let them. The odds are good that within a few days they’ll return to life, but in a new and better form. Until then, explore your options, both in relation to these and in other as unsettled arrangements, too

Gemini (May 20 – June 19)

You’ve plenty of time to deal with tedious but important financial or business matters. Your ruler Mercury’s been in this portion of your chart for well over two months, so there’s been no hurry. The more swiftly you take action, the better.

Cancer (June 20 – July 21)

Unsettling as sudden ideas or offers are, you’ve no choice but to respond right away. Ordinarily you’d gather facts first, then take action. But with things moving so rapidly, those facts are bound to change, perhaps more than once. You’re better off making, then altering, plans based on what you experience.

Leo (July 22 – August 21)

If you’ve felt trapped lately, it’s no surprise. You’ve faced a series of tricky situations, most of which you’ve navigated cannily. Although the current Leo New Moon promises breakthroughs in these and other matters, you won’t necessarily recognise their potential right away.

Virgo (August 22 – September 21)

Leaving pivotal decisions up to others is challenging enough, but all the more so when you question whether they’re equipped to deal with the matter in question. Since you’ve no choice, you’re better off distracting yourself. This could mean the time’s come to tackle certain tasks you never seem to have time for.

Libra (September 22 – October 22)

In late July your ruling planet, Venus, moved into the most strategic portion of your chart. This meant that even you, at your most tactful, had to steer clear of crucial, but tricky, situations. Worrying as the situation is, you’re better off waiting until Venus’s move into Libra, on the 16th, improves on things.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 20)

Setbacks don’t bother you. In fact, when they occur you’ll often be ready for them. But the variety of situations you’re facing now, when both situation and the behaviour of others is completely unpredictable is proving very difficult to deal with. Resist the temptation to analyse these.

Sagittarius (November 21 – December 20)

The tasks you’re dealing with may seem urgent. But the odds are good those feelings are more out of frustration than fact. After the excitement of recent developments, you assumed things would proceed without a hitch. With so many changes in such a short time, a certain amount of chaos is inevitable.

Capricorn (December 21 – January 19)

No sign understands better that doing nothing is preferable to undertaking a venture at the wrong time. And judging by the complications you’ve been facing and others have been contending with, this isn’t the ideal moment. Yet because this is an unsettled period, you may not have a better option for some weeks.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

Do certain frustrating situations seem pointless? It could even seem you’re being forced to do exactly what you decided not to. But actually, these events are taking you in a new and unexpectedly profitable direction. If you can’t say an enthusiastic yes, just don’t say no. You’ll soon learn why.

Pisces (February 19 – March 19)

It would be no surprise if you’re still sailing along, benefitting from the stunning planetary alliance that involved fortunate Jupiter, Saturn and your ruler Neptune. While some of what arose may have been discussed or even settled, you’ll still be exploring other ideas. Take your time. They won’t vanish.
