Partner ost
various artistes
Director David Dhawan's comedies, especially those starring Govinda, have a typical brand of fast and funky music. This soundtrack is no different and follows the same formula. But despite its predictability, the CD is enjoyable.
The album begins with a techno chant of Do You Wanna Partner? and then proceeds to Shaan and Udit Narayan's lively banter adds a quirk note to it. Next in line is a catchy mix of R&B/bhangra-pop You Are My Love sung by Shaan, Pant and Earl D'Souza. Laabh Janjuwa and Sneha Pant toe the same genre again in Soni De Nakhre. Providing a break from the monotony is Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chouhan's Maria Maria with Latino rhythms.
But the respite is brief. The punjabi touch returns with the party song Dupatta Tera Nau Rang Da. These songs are perfect for the dance floor.
