Vatayanasana is an excellent way to strengthen the leg muscles

Vatayanasana, or the flying horse pose, (vata means "wind" and ayana means "to move") is a deceptive pose, in the sense that the final position is easier to attain than the effort required to attain it. This pose is an excellent hip opener, rids the body of unwanted gases and is beneficial for control of the reproductive organs.
