Over and done with
Over and done with Bea Alonzo is thankful her most feared scene, a passionate love scene with actor Sam Milby, in her upcoming movie And I Love You So is over with. What makes it a big challenge for her is that in the movie she plays a mature woman, a big departure from the teeny-bopper roles she has played in the past.

Another fear factor for Alonzo is Milby, with whom she is being paired for the very first time. "I probably just got used to being paired with John Lloyd Cruz before, so I was a bit afraid in the beginning that something might go wrong. But the scene was executed well, so I'm so relieved it's now over," Alonzo told our Manila mole.

Back on track
After a forgettable performance in his last project, Gagambino, Dennis Trillo is back to what he does best - acting well.

He shows his talent in his latest film assignment, Astig, which was recently shown at the Cinemalaya Festival in Manila.

An award-winning actor, Trillo was being groomed to become the industry's next most important male star, but personal controversies set him back and tainted his public image. That eventually healed but his projects of late have been mediocre.

Manila moles tipped this column that the film will soon be doing the rounds of international film festivals after receiving a few invitations. Trillo will also be starting work on the movie franchise Mano Po (now on its 6th edition), in which he co-stars with megastar Sharon Cuneta.
