Three Fifty Nine, a contemporary ready-to-wear womenswear brand by Egyptian designer Marwa Sayed, will showcase at Fashion Scout London SS19, after it was selected by Dubai Design & Fashion Council (DDFC) and FAD Institute of Luxury, Fashion & Style Dubai (FAD Dubai).
DDFC x FAD Dubai Fashion Showcase, now in its fourth season, held an open call to fashion designers who are members of in5/DDFC, a platform for designers, entrepreneurs and start-ups. Six designers were shortlisted to show their collections to a final jury before a winner was chosen. Three Fifty Nine will showcase its Spring/Summer 2019 collection during London Fashion Week, between September 14 and 17.
“It’s an incredible platform for emerging designers to present their collections at London Fashion Week and I am overjoyed to be among the designers showcasing at the renowned event,” said creative director Sayed, calling it ‘a dream come true’.
Sayed founded her brand in 2015 for women who value individuality. The designs are handcrafted, fusing bold prints and vivid colours.
Fashion Scout London, a global and independent platform, aims to foster and champion creative design talent. It has launched the likes of Peter Pilotto, David Koma, Eudon Choi and Phoebe English. The showcase will be held at Freemasons’ Hall in London this year.
