Ten-day shopping fiesta runs until August 10 at the Dubai World Trade Centre
Dubai: The Ramadan Night Market, which opened to the public on Thursday at the Dubai World Trade Centre, saw thousands of visitors pass through its doors during its first three days.
Running until August 10 the ten-day shopping fiesta includes new features such as an Arabian Souq, a fashion pavilion, a health and beauty bay and a special children’s zone.
The market, which is organised by Sumansa Exhibitions, is twice as big this year compared with 2012 (its launch year), with around five pavilions featuring 400 outlets.
Exhibitors are offering products ranging from clothes, gifts, electronics, perfume, cosmetics, jewellery and household items from around the globe. The market is expected to have about 100,000 visitors over ten days, according to the organisers.
“There is a lot happening at this year’s Ramadan Night Market, we have created a fun atmosphere for the entire family, especially for the little ones. Parents can enjoy shopping while kids can be engaged in varies interactive workshops or can simply have fun at the kids’ play area, a special zone created just for them,” they said.
Visitors can expect excellent bargains, a wide product range and a wonderful ambience.
Representing the UAE’s culture and heritage, the Arabian Souq is hosting a big majlis with henna art, coffee and dates on offer.
