Made-to-order has been a core element of the London brand (for the very special requests); now they’re bringing it to their UAE customers. Choose from several colourways, textures and finishes in a number of popular styles: Anouk, Lance, Xenia and Tite — as well as varying heel heights. You can also monogram the soles. The service will be available at: Harvey Nichols, Mall of the Emirates, Dubai (October 15-18); Sofitel, Downtown, Dubai (October 20-21); Galleria, Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi (October 23-24); and Rosewood Hotel, Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi (October 25).

SoH

More fab things from Galleria, the new strip mall on Al Wasl Road. In addition to some cool restaurants and fashion boutiques, SoH, a beauty parlour with a difference, has just opened. Treats in store include organic argan-oil based products and art on the walls. The art’s not just on the walls, actually — they also offer nail art and “floral hair art” while you peruse the varying exhibitions. Currently on show is pop art by Melanie Pickup, Maria Iqbal and Mubarik Jafery. Call 04-3444147.
