Having just hosted Vanilla Ice and Snap, the announcement that Dr Alban and Black Box are heading to Dubai is Ride on Time (sorry, we couldn't resist the reference to Black Box song).
The popular '90s house music group is the second live instalment for the Barasti Beach Flashback series and taking place today.
Most famous for the global hit It's My Life, Dr Alban has racked up worldwide sales of more than five million albums.
Similarly it's Black Box's song, Ride On Time, rather than the faces of the Italian members, you are more likely to recognise.
One of the leading exponents of Italian house music, Black Box flourished on the dance floors of the late '80s and early '90s.Black Box comprises three Italian studio musicians Daniele Davoli, Mirko Limoni and Valerio Semplici, along with singer Catherine Quinol.
Tickets priced Dh100 are available at Barasti. Entry is free before 8pm and dress code is '90s chic.
