Wheelchair accessibility efforts

Wings of Angelz are looking beyond just the entrances to buildings and complexes. They are making sure that there are quick and convenient routes for people in wheelchairs.

They have gotten a total of 8 ramps built through their initiative in Dubai. Six of those were made in 2014. The list of locations that have built ramps in Dubai in 2014 are:

- Entry routes to the Dubai Metro Stations

- The Arabian Gulf Mechanical Centre (AGMC) in Deira

- Bee’ah Waste Management Complex

Locations that have committed to the ramp and the ramps that are in progress are:

- Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa

- Sumo Sushi & Bento in Town Centre

- GMC automobile company in Deira

The following places have found an alternative route for people in wheelchairs:

- Loca Restaurant in Jumeriah

- Bikanervala restaurant in Karama

The vision is to build 50 ramps in 2015.
