Tablet devices pose new distraction for careless drivers

I would like to highlight a case of terrible driving in the paper. Recently on Al Khail Road I spotted a car heading towards Abu Dhabi. I noticed that driver, who was alone in the car, had a tablet device turned on and placed on the steering wheel.

We all hear about the dangers of texting and driving, but here there is a tablet sitting on top of the steering wheel. Just what dangers does this expose people to? I want to highlight this dangerous habit to readers, Roads and Transport Authority officials and police so that corrective action may be taken.
