Remedial therapy and other tips on having special needs children

Tips:

• Accept that your child has a difficulty; look for its solution and not cause

• Medication is not the solution - remedial therapy is to be considered

• Look for schools before the child turns four years of age as the admission process could take time

• Society needs to accept differences in children and provide them with an accepting environment

• A lot of seminars and talks should be initiated to raise awareness among parents and the rest of society

• Talks in school to educate fellow students on accepting their peers with special conditions
