Littering: A sign of ungratefulness

Gulf News reader Leesha Laif sent these series of pictures through Facebook. She wrote: “This trash has been left by people who are ungrateful for the natural beauty they have inherited. I took these photographs near Al Qudra cycle track. I believe municipal workers should just stop picking up after these people.

"The public really needs to learn to stop littering on their own. Would you believe there is a big silver garbage skip just 100 metres away from these piles of rubbish? This irresponsible mentality is not up to date with the 21st century yet.”
