Do away with traces of trash

Recently, when I was walking in the Ayal Nasser area in Deira, I came across a [generator room]. The excessive amount of garbage in the neighbourhood is not unusual, but the fact that even such areas are not spared from litter came as a shock. It is very disappointing to witness such mistreatment of building facilities.

People have been dumping their garbage in almost every nook and cranny in the city — I am astonished by their lack of civic sense. Through this community report, I request the residents of Deira to kindly dispose their garbage appropriately. I also urge the concerned authorities to organise a clean-up drive for this area, where even residents can participate. Moreover, additional Municipal officials should be deployed in the area round-the-clock. Also, by placing more trash bins in various neighbourhoods, the issue of excessive garbage can be controlled.
