Construction workers' safety ignored

Recently, as I was waiting at a traffic signal in Sharjah Industrial area, I saw this pick-up truck loaded with many construction-related items. On it were also three construction workers, being transported under the hot sun and humidity.

This is a highly unsafe practice, as the men could easily get thrown out at the slightest impact and could also get smashed by the other materials that the pick-up truck was carrying.

Being human, they too deserve to be transported in safe, covered buses instead of being transported like cattle.

For the safety and comfort of the construction workers, I request the transport authorities to enforce a ban on transporting people in pick-up trucks or in open vehicles.
