There are a few very old buildings on Electra Street in Abu Dhabi, with roofs which are very dirty. The buildings nearby are very beautiful high-rises, but when looking at these, one might get upset because of the shabby look.

Old buildings are okay, but why have the concerned authorities not taken care of them?

I have come across many old buildings which face the same problem and have unwanted furniture and other such items dumped on their roofs.

Most of the debris is wood, paper and clothes. So, if someone were to throw a cigarette butt onto one of the roofs there is a big chance it might start a fire.

I humbly request the authorities take necessary action to clean the roofs of these buildings as soon as possible.
