This picture was taken in the Al Majaz area of Sharjah. I was really shocked when I saw these children on the road. One of the children was hardly three years old while the other was slightly older.

They wanted to cross the road in a spot where there is oncoming traffic from three sides. The little girl held the boy’s hand and tried to cross so many times. Although nothing happened to them, thanks to God, when they finally crossed the road I thought to myself, where are the parents?

I wish I could meet their parents and inform them of their duties and responsibilities because it seems that nowadays I have seen so many parents blaming others after accidents happen with their children.

Parents need to be more careful. Before we blame others, we should question if we are responsible parents ourselves.
