I am living in Sharjah’s Al Butina area. The place is a peaceful, residential area that is developing very quickly with many hypermarkets coming up. Throughout the area, there is a two-way road.

The issue is that in many places the big trash bins are kept in the middle of the road (as seen in the photograph). After emptying the trash, the Sharjah Municipality cleaners do not keep the bins properly. This causes difficulty for the motorists, especially during the foggy weather in the winter season.

It causes trouble for pedestrians as well, since they don’t have enough space to walk near these bins, especially when they are full and smell bad.

Apart from this, some people park their cars next to the trash bins, which causes traffic congestion. This is a safety issue for other motorists.

I hope this will bring the attention of the concerned authorities to address this issue and make our lives simpler.
