Dubai: The final curtain will fall on the 23rd edition of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) this weekend and before it does, shoppers are in for bigger treats.

Those who are looking to spruce up their apartment should head to Ibn Battuta Mall on Friday, as a major home furnishing retailer is slashing its price tags by up to 90 per cent.

Home Box in Ibn Battuta is the last store to host a "Friday Surprise" sale for DSF shoppers and it is offering price-busting deals on a wide selection of homeware and furnishings.

Besides Home Box, however, stores across Dubai are also expected to bring down their prices further this weekend, to mark the closing of the citywide shopping bonanza on Saturday, January 27. Consumers still have a chance to win some prizes until February 3, and there is still a whole kilo of gold, cash and cars to be given away.

As for the flash sale at Home Box,  shoppers can enjoy up to 90 per cent discount from 10am until stocks run out. The discount will apply to a wide selection of household and furniture items.

Home Box sells household goods, including bedroom, dining and living room sets, kitchenware, home décor and beddings.

“It’s the perfect time to pick up that new bedroom set or living room sofa,” organisers said.
