Actor Xian Lim got involved in another controversy last week during a performance in Albay, a province south of Manila.
A staffer from the welcoming committee tasked to receive him complained that the actor brushed her aside when she gave him a shirt and a coffee table book, with the actor allegedly saying he was not there to promote the province.
In a post on his Twitter account (@XianLimm), Lim apologised to the governor of the province, who was the host of the event where the actor performed a couple of songs. As of this writing, the council of the province is mulling filing a resolution declaring the actor a persona non grata in the province.
