Sandra Bullock’s Debbie Ocean and her all-woman crew are up to no good in this summer’s Ocean’s 8.

Lucky for them, “no good” is precisely what Debbie’s good at.

In the film’s full trailer that dropped on Thursday, this estranged Ocean sibling reveals she has spent “five years, eight months and 12 days” behind bars figuring out plans to loot the high-profile Met Gala and divulges her course of action to pal Lou (Cate Blanchett).

The well-heeled gang, which rivals that of brother Danny Ocean’s (George Clooney in Ocean’s 11, 12 and 13), is also promised $16.5 million (Dh60.5m) in each of member’s bank account — and Debbie’s assurance that they “will not be the prime suspects.”

The star-studded spinoff sees the glamorous brigade execute her meticulously laid plans, which apparently go awry when crew member Daphne (Anne Hathaway) is captured. The trailer opens with James Corden’s character questioning Daphne’s bored, jewel-loving thief about “the incident.”

Amid shots of effortless execution, swoon-worthy gems and a glittery parade of gowns at the gala, Bullock, Blanchett and Hathaway are joined by Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter.

Warner Bros.’ latest spinoff, directed and co-written by Gary Ross, glides into theatres on June 8.
