Model-actor Corey Sligh, who appeared on American television show The Young and the Restless, has been found guilty of molesting a girl and can face up to 20 years in jail.
Sligh was arrested in his hometown of Canton, Georgia, in 2016 and charged after the victim’s parents filed a police complaint against the actor for touching their daughter, who was younger than 10 years old then, in an inappropriate manner, and asking her to do the same.
On June 28, the jury found Sligh guilty on one count of molesting a girl younger than 10 years old.
The 31-year-old actor faces five to 20 years in prison and is being held in the Cherokee County jail.
Sligh awaits trial on another similar case in Florida.
