Established in Zambia’s Copperbelt region since 1984, the Kagem emerald mine has garnered global acclaim for its premium emerald production, coupled with a steadfast commitment to environmental and social responsibility. Amidst this legacy, the discovery of the Insofu Emerald, with its raw brilliance weighing an impressive 6,225 carats, captured the imagination of both connoisseurs and creators alike. Recognising its innate beauty and potential, Caroline Scheufele embarked on a mission to unleash its perfection, enlisting expert emerald cutters from India to reveal its unique character through collaboration of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary techniques.

With a cultivated eye and appreciation for fine jewellery, Roberts joined forces with Caroline Scheufele to conceive the ‘Chopard x Julia Roberts’ capsule collection. This exquisite ensemble, marrying avant-garde execution with timeless elegance, features a selection of pieces meticulously crafted from the finest Insofu cut emeralds.
Each piece in the collection is made with Fairmined-certified ethical rose gold, meeting the standards set by Fairmined for humane labour conditions, environmental protection, and community development.
