Los Angeles luxury fashion house Amiri has arrived in the UAE with a new location at Dubai Mall’s Fashion Avenue and a special capsule collection available exclusively in Dubai
The Fashion Avenue in Dubai Mall has just welcomed an exclusive new luxury shopping destination earlier this month, with SOHO Middle East partnering up to bring Los Angeles label Amiri to the UAE for the first time after the brand took its first international steps with stores in Shanghai and Tokyo.
Founded eight years ago by Los Angeleno Mike Amiri, Amiri quickly established itself as a global luxury fashion house with its hand-embellished, one-off denim creations inspired by the youth counterculture of the 1990s.
The Dubai location stocks the full range of Amiri’s men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections, accessories, footwear and leather goods, as well as a special new ‘Dubai Palm Tree’ capsule collection launched exclusively in the UAE boutique, which includes silk shirts and shorts, a tee, hoodie, jersey shorts and hat, decorated with hand-painted botanical illustrations.
As one of the fastest growing fashion houses in the US, Amiri has now expanded into the Middle East with its latest location in Dubai Mall spanning 3,500 square feet. Designed by Paris-based studio NOCOD, the store is a gallery-like concept featuring curated furniture and decoration partly by Mike Amiri himself.
