Ministry of Energy announces new petrol prices for June.

The per-litre prices are Super 98 at Dh2.63 (from Dh2.49 in May and Dh2.33 in April) and Special 95 at Dh2.51 (from Dh2.37 in May and Dh2.22 in April). E-plus 91 has been fixed at a price of Dh2.44 (up from Dh2.30 in May and 2.14 in April).

Diesel price has been fixed at Dh2.71 per litre (from Dh2.56 in May and Dh2.40 in April).

International crude oil prices have been rising for the past couple of months.

The prices are expected to stay volatile due to the end of the Opec production cut agreement in March, along with a healthy global demand for fuel.
