Spoken word artist, poet, rapper and filmmaker Prince Ea will be part of an edutainment (education + entertainment) festival in Dubai dubbed Make Smart Cool. The event will take place on September 29 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
It will also feature social media personalities Jay Shetty, UAE-based motivational speaker Khalid Al Ameri, and performances by UK artists Example and DJ Wire.
“Once I heard about the event and the beautiful things they were doing for future generations I became excited to attend. Can’t wait,” said Prince Ea in a press release.
Organisers Najahi hope to inspire the youth in the region to find their inner power, passion and talent, in an intelligent, engaging and fun way.
“We are delighted to present this first in the Middle East event and here in the UAE, where youth is at the core of its development,” said Awfa Mustafa, co-founder and general manager of Najahi.
Tickets are available online for Dh299, Dh499, Dh699 and Dh999, depending on proximity to stage; the last package, Platinum VIP, includes priority check-in, front row admission, lounge seating, snacks and beverages, as well as a photo opportunity.
