Indian meals

Curry in the sky? If that’s what you enjoy, Etihad Airways’ inflight team of culinary professionals should be able to serve it. The airline has reimagined its menus to include customers’ favourite Indian dishes, with service that goes above and beyond. Its inflight Food & Beverage Managers have been hired from the best five-star hotels.

Etihad meets travellers’ taste and dining demands, whether for religious or medical reasons, or to satisfy younger guests. For example, non-vegetarian Hindu meals do not feature beef recipes, and Jain menus are both vegetarian but are prepared without root vegetables. And standard vegetarian meals offer a variety of fruits and Indian vegetables.

Family friendly

Your little ones are well looked after on Etihad. The Flying Nanny provides an extra pair of hands to parents, from helping children settle into bed to keeping them entertained through long haul flights with a goody bag of activities including arts, crafts and origami, hand puppets and more. Speaking a variety of Indian languages, the Flying Nannies are trained in every aspect of cabin safety and service delivery and come approved by Norland, the UK’s renowned childcare training college for early years professionals.

Entertainment

Whether it’s Bollywood, Indian pop or international TV, Etihad’s inflight entertainment offerings are something to look forward to on international routes.

E-BOX allows travellers to pick from the latest movies and shows, with programming available in a range of language tracks and subtitles. Live TV provides seven channels offering news updates and sporting action as it happens. The facility is available on selected flights.

Children are the focus of special attention. Besides interactive games and animated characters, Etihad curates programming for its youngest and most important guests on every route across the network.
