The Sri Lanka Business Council UAE (SLBC), operating under the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, will launch the inaugural SLBC EXPO Pavilion 2025 on 21 November at 2:00pm at Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre, setting the stage for its 35th anniversary celebrations in 2026.

The opening ceremony will be led by Prof. Arusha Cooray, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the UAE, with distinguished senior advisors and past leaders Farook Kassim and Gamini Kannangara in attendance. Diplomats, business councils, and corporate representatives are expected to join the event.

The Pavilion brings together a curated selection of leading Sri Lankan brands, showcasing the country’s strengths across premium products, investment, tourism, education, and technology. Exhibitors include Dilmah with its world-renowned Ceylon tea; Deo Global Lanka, presenting pure Ceylon cinnamon and spices; and Serendip Oud, introducing authentic Ceylon oud.

Major investment opportunities will be highlighted by China Harbour’s Colombo Port City and real estate leader PrimeLand, supported by tailored expatriate investment solutions from DFCC Bank. Complementing these are Sargia Holidays, New Education Group, and Impact IT, showcasing Sri Lanka’s capabilities in travel, higher education, and digital innovation.

The initiative is strengthened by the support of Siraj Finance, Magic Mango, XESS Advertising, the Sri Lanka Bankers Association UAE, and the CASL UAE Chapter. Pullman Creekside Deira City Centre serves as the official hospitality partner, aligning the exhibition with its acclaimed Chronicles of Ceylon culinary festival.

SLBC Chairman Suren Swaminathan described the Pavilion as “a carefully curated showcase of Sri Lanka’s hidden gems, celebrating the nation’s excellence across products, investment, innovation, and culture. As we enter our 35th anniversary year, this Pavilion marks a significant milestone for the SLBC and the Sri Lankan community in the UAE.”

The exhibition will run from 21–23 November and is open to the public.
