Smart Mobility International expands luxury EV lineup across the Middle East

Smart Mobility International (SMI), a leader in premium New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) in the UAE, proudly announces the expansion of its luxury electric vehicle (EV) portfolio following the exceptional success of the AVATR brand.

After launching the AVATR 11 and AVATR 12 in December 2024, deliveries began in January 2025, quickly establishing AVATR as a top luxury EV brand in the UAE. “AVATR is more than a car—it’s a bold statement of performance and luxury,” said Fay Almulla, Operations Manager at SMI. “We are reshaping premium mobility in the Middle East.”

AVATR’s design stems from its Munich studio under Chief Design Officer Nader Faghihzadeh, a celebrity German car designer and is inspired by fashion visionary Kim Jones, Artistic Director at Dior and Fendi, blending elegance with technology.

A collaboration between Changan, Huawei, and CATL, AVATR combines intelligent systems, advanced battery tech, and luxury craftsmanship. Exclusive color palettes curated by SMI further enhance the ownership experience.

SMI is set to launch the AVATR 07 (range-extender) and AVATR 06 by the end of 2025, broadening the offering while maintaining innovation and refinement. A new flagship showroom will open soon in Abu Dhabi, joining the largest dedicated EV service center in Al Quoz, Dubai. SMI is also bringing IM Motors and WEY to the Middle East.
