BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus Silver Jubilee: Message from the Chancellor

It is with immense pride and deep appreciation that I congratulate BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus, on the momentous occasion of its Silver Jubilee.

Twenty-five years ago, the establishment of BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus (BPDC) marked a pioneering step in India’s higher education journey—an ambitious vision to extend the frontiers of academic excellence beyond national borders.

Today, the campus stands as a remarkable testament to that vision, having evolved into a dynamic institution that not only imparts world-class education but also nurtures global citizens.

In many ways, the story of our Dubai Campus mirrors the growing partnership between India and the United Arab Emirates — two nations bound by shared values, mutual respect, and a collective aspiration for progress.

The Dubai Campus has become an academic bridge between our countries, empowering generations of students with a uniquely global outlook rooted in Indian academic ethos.

It is heartening to see how BPDC has embedded itself into the UAE’s vibrant landscape, contributing to its knowledge economy and fostering meaningful cross-cultural exchange.

As Chancellor of BITS Pilani, I take great pride in the transformative role that our Dubai Campus continues to play. Its graduates — confident, capable, and forward-thinking — carry the BITS legacy into the world, strengthening the fabric of international collaboration and innovation.

This milestone is not just a celebration of the past, but a springboard for the future. In the years ahead, I am confident that BPDC will deepen its impact—academically, socially, and globally—while continuing to uphold the values that define BITS: meritocracy, excellence, and integrity.
