BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus celebrates 25 years of academic excellence

For over 25 years, BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus (BPDC), a branch of the globally recognised Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, has been a beacon of academic excellence in the UAE. Established in 2000, BPDC has consistently offered world-class education, cutting-edge infrastructure, and strong industry connections, making it one of the top private engineering institutions in the region.

BPDC offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes in fields like Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Biotechnology, Chemical and Civil Engineering. Additionally, its unique Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) and MBA programmes provide business education within a premier engineering institute, integrating technological support, innovation-driven learning, and industry exposure — an advantage over traditional business schools.

In its 25th year, BPDC has introduced seven new programmes, expanding its undergraduate offerings to 15. These include M.Sc. Physics in Space Science and Technology and B.E. degrees in Mathematics & Computing, Architectural & Urban Engineering, and specialised tracks in Mechanical, Chemical, and Biotechnology.

BPDC’s BBA (Honours) programme ensures diversity, welcoming students from all academic backgrounds.

The BPDC campus, located in Dubai Academic City, boasts modern classrooms, advanced laboratories, a high-tech incubation centre and creative lab, satellite ground station and dedicated research facilities. Most recently the campus has also announced the establishment of a Centre of excellence in Blockchain and AI Research.

With a 100 per cent internship placement record through its Practice School Programme, BPDC has strong ties with global corporations like Siemens, Schlumberger, L&T, and Microsoft.
