It was an fun-filled afternoon of learning, laughter and loads of engagement as la Vie en Rose along with Friday magazine hosted ‘Perfect fit’ an extraordinary bra-fitting event at the lingerie retailer’s Dubai Hills Mall outlet on August 24, 2023. Apart from knowing more about the brand’s extensive range of bras, the scintillating workshop offered personalised bra measuring services from la Vie en Rose’s expert team.
Speaking at the event, Reena Bedi, Vice President, Apparel Group, enlightened the audience on la Vie en Rose’s continuous efforts to provide exquisitely designed lingerie that also offers comfort all day long.
Later Dubai’s well-known fashion stylist Lindsay Judge, who was also the host of the event, spoke about the wide variety of bras – unlined, lightly lined and the push-ups – each designed to meet women’s specific needs and body shapes.
Elaborating on each collection, Lindsay said the unlined bras designed for women looking for a natural silhouette and everyday comfort. Despite having no padding, these bras offer a subtle lifting effect thanks to the positioning of the seams and the carefully moulded cups, she added. The highlight of this collection is the innovative unlined cushioned wire bra, which features a special cushioned underwire that ensures no digging in or red marks are left on the body after daily wear. This super-comfortable design is perfect for women who want a bra they don’t even know they’re wearing, she pointed out.
The second range, the lightly lined bras, are perhaps the most popular, cater to women looking for comfort all day long, as well as a desirable bust shape. They are suitable for women of various sizes up to an E cup, offering a lift for women with smaller busts and a natural look and comfort for larger-breasted women. The highlight of the lightly lined bras is the sleek back style, which ensures the bras sit seamlessly on the skin, minimising lumps and bumps. This ground-breaking design also features a U-shaped back that keeps the straps from sliding off.
The final offering, the push-up bra selection, is generally created for smaller-breasted women looking for more of an impacted lift and the appearance of larger breasts. The hero of this line is the push-up front closure, which comes with a magnetic front closure clip that makes bras super easy to put on. The front closure is also offered in a lightly lined version for the first time.
The session ended with attendees picking up their favourite bras and interacting with the experts at hand seeking advice on which bras would fit and suit them best.
