Pakistan’s leading fashion label, Lajwanti opened its doors in 1995. From a quaint store in Pearl Continental Lahore, the label skyrocketed into a full-fledged brand gracing catwalks across Europe and the United States, receiving national attention and International headlines.

Since its inception, Lajwanti has celebrated hereditary workmanship – the forgotten, unparallelled craft of the past. It continues to redefine Pakistani bridal couture, producing one breathtaking ensemble after the other, each piece taking 8 artisans working for 800 hours on an average.

With the brand deeply rooted in the Mughal era, its latest collection “Gul Bahaar’’ is an ode to Lucknowi Chikankari, a fading craft belonging to the Mughal era. Pastel tones of beige, gold, soft blue and baby rose are synonymous with subtle grandeur and passion. With love in its details, heirloom fabrics and homespun metallic thread ornamentations, the art of Lucknowi Chikankari carries incredible artisanal value and is a journey of motif and colour guided by a steady hand.

Lajwanti will be opening its studio in Dubai at Ensemble - Villa 259, Al Wasl Road, Jumeirah 1, Dubai, UAE later this year.
