Of course, everyone has bad days; especially in pregnancy, when you feel tired and just can’t be bothered. But it doesn’t help when you see pictures of celebrities in magazines looking perfect 24/7 – it’s totally unrealistic. I try to remind myself that everyone has off days. But instead of moping about, I try to go for a walk, to the gym or get my hair or nails done – whatever small thing makes me feel better. The best thing to do is to drag yourself out of bed and get on with it. Oh, and wear a hat!

Have you always been obsessed with the fashion and beauty industry?

Always. As a child, I would watch my mum getting ready and couldn’t wait to grow up and do my hair, make-up and nails like her. I even used to wear her shoes around the house, but they were so big I would always fall over.

How would you describe your style?

I don’t necessarily follow trends, I just dress in a way that I think works best for me. When you’re younger, everyone is experimental, and makes mistakes, but that eventually helps you discover how you want to look.

Who are your style icons?

Kate Moss is amazing – she looks effortless and incredible all the time. Then there’s Kim Kardashian. I love her hair, her make-up, everything – I love how groomed she looks.

What one piece in your wardrobe couldn’t you live without?

My Birkin bags, because I’ll be able to pass them down to my babies. They’re a timeless investment. I could live without pretty much everything, because you can adjust to whatever life hands you, but I do have this obsession with pyjamas. I love them! I have so many pairs, I actually have a special area just for pyjamas in my closet.

What’s your biggest fashion weakness?

I love clothes, especially Alaïa, Alexander McQueen, and Balenciaga – their leather trousers are the best. But since I’m pregnant, at the moment, it’s all about the shoes. I know they’ll fit me – at least for a while.

What made you decide to develop your own haircare range?

I used to play with my little sister Petra’s hair like she was my Barbie doll when we were kids. I think I knew then that I wanted to do something in the beauty industry, but as I researched the market, I realised haircare was a good direction to go in because there weren’t many amazing high-end products out there.

No tips or advice, they only come to me for products!

What are some of your favourites from your range?

What’s the best piece of beauty advice you could give?

I know it sounds cheesy, but my mum told me to always take off my make-up before bed, drink lots of water and get lots of sleep. I think those are the things that I swear by and I really think it makes a difference.
