Fitness Friday
I don’t like working out, so I do what I can with walking and yoga! I walk for 30 minutes every day and practise Ashtanga yoga on Fridays. I sometimes attend meditation and healing workshops too.
Weekend wears
I love dressing up at weekends and I will wear some outfits from my own line, as the pieces are timeless and elegant. I’ll also have fun wearing clothes from Alexander McQueen, Victoria Beckham, Balmain, Fendi and Zara.
Steak a claim
I don’t enjoy cooking and prefer to eat out at weekends. It’s also the best way to catch up with friends and family. My favourite dish is the Striploin steak at La Petite Maison. It’s not cheap, but is definitely worth it as a weekend treat.

I’m a bookworm and I’ve always loved The Growing Pains of Adrian Mole, but this weekend I’ll be dipping into Blue Ocean Strategy by W Chan Kim.
Favourite fragrance
Oud is definitely my favourite perfume but I wear several. My late mother Kerima taught me how to mix natural fragrances and oils so I create my own very unique fragrances.
TV times
I absolutely love Game Of Thrones and I am always on the edge of my seat watching it. I’m also a movie buff and like going to the cinema at the weekends to catch the latest releases.
Bella Marbella
If a free weekend cropped up on my calendar I’d head straight to Marbella in Spain. I spent all my summers there growing up and love the amazing energy, food, shopping, weather and the friendly, fun people. I also really enjoy venturing off to Abu Dhabi for short getaways. I am still on the lookout for my favourite hotel there, though, but in the meantime I’m enjoying the search!
Working girl
As a fashion designer, TV presenter, model, and brand ambassador for Jaipur Gems, I sometimes work on the weekends, but that’s OK… once I had to interview George Clooney!
Beauty saviour
I can’t live without Bioderma Sensibio face cleanser (Dh72 at Basharcare.com). It’s a fantastic cleanser and does the job without harming my sensitive skin.
Most treasured item
I always carry my mother’s photos with me. Looking at them takes me back to beautiful memories of the time I had with her.
