BBC Earth’s nature content fuses with Sega’s gaming technology to create Orbi, an indoor nature experience that will plunge visitors into the heart of the natural world through a visceral, multi-sensory edutainment experience.

To open in City Centre Mirdif next month, Orbi will feature a custom built theatre, innovative audio visual technology, and interactive walk-through touchpoints. It attempts to transform the way people explore the mysteries of nature inviting them to see and hear the planet.

The UAE will be the first market in the world outside of Japan to house Orbi.

Orbi, which brings together BBC, whose much acclaimed series such as Blue Planet, Planet Earth II, The Hunt, and Life, among others have wowed millions of people, and Sega known for developing real game changing entertainment concepts - will offer visitors a chance to experience, virtually, life at the centre of an elephant herd or in the deepest ocean depths.

‘Orbi represents the next generation of edutainment with stunning audio visual content and technology,’ says Damien Latham, Chief Executive Officer of Majid Al Futtaim – Leisure and Entertainment.
