VIDXB to promote local talent in digital media
First annual event, a product of a collaboration between Dubai Film & TV Commission, YouTube and The Alliance, will hold series of programmes, facilitate skills development
VIDXB, the first annual gathering celebrating the world of online video in the region, including content creators on YouTube, will be held on December 8 and 9 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, organisers announced on Friday morning at Middle East Film & Comic Con.
The event is a product of a collaboration between Dubai Film & TV Commission, YouTube and The Alliance, who are also behind MEFCC.
VIDXB will kick off “an ongoing series of programmes to promote local content, showcase emerging technologies, and facilitate skills development for Dubai’s growing digital media talent pool,” according to a press release.
