Police are looking into the cause of death but have found no evidence of a break-in
Actress Kim Sae-ron was found dead at her home on Sunday, according to police. Seongdong police are investigating the cause of death but have found no signs of a break-in.
According to The Korea Herald, a friend of Kim's visited her home in Seongdong, Seoul, around 4:50 pm and contacted the police.
A police official, quoted by Yonhap News Agency, said, "We have not found any signs of foul play yet, but we are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death."
Kim, who started her career in 2009, quickly rose to fame in the entertainment industry, known for her roles in dramas like Hi! School-Love On, Listen to My Heart, and The Queen's Classroom.
She also made an impact in films, including the 2010 hit The Man from Nowhere, and was last seen in the Netflix drama Bloodhounds in 2023.
Kim's career suffered a setback in May 2022 after a drunk driving incident, which led to her being fined 20 million won (RM61,546) in April 2023.
