Dubai dance company to present ‘Yatra’

Dubai dance theatre house Avega Dance Creations will present a production called ‘Yatra’ at The Junction at Alserkal Avenue, Dubai on June 6.

Meaning ‘journey’ in Sanskrit, the show will feature eight short stories that encapsulate physical, emotional or spiritual journeys each of the performers have undertaken, say organisers. They will be told through various dance genres, from Indian classical to contemporary, b-boying and hip hop.
