Relive BTS's funniest moments for endless joy
You might forget a joke, but BTS won’t ever let you. The best part, you might not even understand the joke, but just watching them collapse in laughter has healing powers as ARMY vouches. As the OT7 is back from military service and have already been serving up the special brand of BTS chaos, ARMY’s are reliving their old memories too, while waiting to see them together again.
No doubt, there’s a catharsis in watching the seven together as fans vouch. Be it RM and Jimin struggling with sugar and salt in the kitchen, while a stressed out Suga supervises, or Jungkook’s sweet potatoes getting stuck to his plate, owing to his ingenious cooking, it’s time to remember some vintage BTS moments that never fail to cheer us up.
This is not only number one for ARMY, this is precious to BTS themselves. During an episode of Run BTS, the members had to play a form of whispers—where they needed to whisper a word to the person in front of them, who is wearing headphones. In this feat, Jimin had to get ‘carbonara’ from J-Hope, and he kept telling Jin ‘Lachimolala’, which Jin, miraculously understood as carbonara.
Did he really not recognise Robert Downey Jr, or was V, just being…you know, V? During one of their games of Run BTS, the septet had to recognise famous actors, and V took a while to recognise Robert Downey Jr, which led to a semi-explosion of shock in the room. Worse, V’s offences didn’t end there, he called DiCaprio, ‘Ricaprio’.
This is the best stress-buster, because RM, who was so earnest in his attempts to dance, ended up sending his bandmates into fits of laughter.
This was probably the cruellest thing to do to poor J-Hope, who is known for his laughter. During an episode, the band ‘censored’ words for each other, and one of J-Hope’s words was his laugh and ‘uh’. According to the rules of the game that contained a debate, if you say your forbidden word by accident, you get sprayed by water. For the life of him, J-Hope couldn’t understand why he was being constantly sprayed by water. “Is it my laugh? Ha? Ha haha?” He said, and got sprayed dozen times over.
They could have had skating careers? Hold that thought for J-Hope and V. In one of the most hilarious behind-the-scene episodes from their Dynamite performance at The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last year, the band went roller-skating, and while RM, Jin, Jungkook, Suga and Jimin were smooth and skated, J-Hope and V kept falling over, requiring help from the others.
What really was Jungkook’s answer? During a quiz show on Vanity Fair, the members played how well they know each other. When it came to Jungkook, he had to answer what his favourite food was. Jin asked, “It’s ARMY’s love isn’t it?” A nervous Jungkook giggles, while Jin keeps prodding him. Jungkook hastily scratches out the answer and says, “Yes, yes of course it is,” while the rest of the members burst into laughter.
It is often said that Jin is the fourth rapper of the group when he is angry. During one of the most memorable Weverse lives, Jin offered RM a box of wet tissues, and the latter was perplexed. An annoyed Jin spluttered at him saying that he got him tissues because RM keeps making a mess, and explains his rage of not being appreciated enough. Needless to say, RM was gobsmacked.
