Hello.
This is PLEDIS Entertainment.

We would like to inform you that Wonwoo of SEVENTEEN will commence his mandatory military service on April 3 this year. Consequently, he will be unable to participate in any of SEVENTEEN’s activities following his enlistment, including the upcoming Tecate Pa’l Norte 2025 festival and Japan fan meeting in April. As previously announced, Wonwoo will take part in the “SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND” concert as planned from March 20 to 21 and will appear in various pre-recorded content.

There will not be an official event on the day of his enlistment, and we kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting the location of his alternative military service. Please share your warm messages of support for Wonwoo through Weverse.

We appreciate your continued love and encouragement for the artist until his safe and healthy return. We also remain dedicated to providing Wonwoo with full support throughout this period.

Thank you.

Wonwoo will be the second member to enlist in the military, following Jeonghan’s enlistment in September 2024.

Fans are expressing their sadness on social media, with one writing, "Okay, okay the sooner he goes, the sooner he comes back, remember..." Another added, "Aren't they supposed to be on a plane to Mexico??" One added, "This wasn't what I needed today..."
