Dubai: Some actions — especially when mixed with bravado and explosives — can have macabre and tragic consequences. This Fourth of July, rapper and podcast host 4Extra reportedly learned that the hard way.

According to a report on Pennlive.com, what began as a day of celebration turned into a nightmare when the No Jumper co-host reportedly lost multiple fingers in a fireworks mishap.

Hours before the incident, 4Extra had posted a video of himself jokingly brandishing fireworks and asking, “Who wants to get blown up today?... I’m blowing somebody up today.” The clip now feels chilling in retrospect.

Later that same evening, the holiday ended in horror. A graphic image of 4Extra’s injured hand was shared on the official No Jumper podcast account on X (formerly Twitter), accompanied by a message saying he had “reportedly blown off his hand with a firework.”

Podcast co-host Adam Grandmaison (aka Adam22) later offered an update, writing on his personal account, “I’m hearing that 4Extra only lost 2 fingers, not the whole hand. Also, he was blind for a few hours, but apparently his vision is back.”

4Extra, whose real name is Resan, has not made a public statement about the accident.

However, his sister Emily has created a GoFundMe campaign to help cover mounting medical expenses.

“On the 4th of July, 4Extra was injured in a firework accident,” the fundraiser reads.

“As many of you know, medical care can be incredibly expensive and add up very fast. Resan is someone who lights up every room with his humor and energy. If you’ve ever laughed with him, shared a moment, or simply care about his well-being, any support—from donations to prayers or even just sharing this—means the world to us.”

4Extra joined No Jumper as a co-host in January and quickly became known for his bold personality and offbeat humor.
