Ex-Dubai singer releases song with Nile Rodgers

Poland-born, New York-based Gina Heisser used to be in a Dubai cover band. Now she’s working with the greats.

A former member of music group Hypnotiq Girls, Heisser released a single on April 13, produced by none other than Get Lucky mastermind Nile Rodgers.

The song, a disco-pop number dubbed Habibi Love, brings forth elements of Rodgers’ past in the funk-soul band, Chic. The music video, available on Heisser’s YouTube channel, was shot in New York City and features Rodgers playing his guitar surrounded by belly dancers.
