Lee Ji-hoon’s agency confirms wife called police over domestic violence: 'It's not a serious incident'

Lee Ji-hoon’s agency has acknowledged that he is the actor identified in recent reports about a domestic violence case filed by his wife.

Police confirmed they received a call on the afternoon of July 24, alleging that he had assaulted his wife during an argument at their Bucheon home, according to Soompi. The dispute reportedly began when Ji-hoon attempted to leave the house and his wife tried to stop him, resulting in a physical altercation.

While police opened an investigation, his wife declined to press charges. With witness accounts and the accuser’s decision not to pursue prosecution, authorities are expected to close the case soon.

On August 14, Y.ONE Entertainment confirmed Lee Ji Hoon was the “40-something actor ‘A’” mentioned in reports but maintained, “While it is true that Lee Ji Hoon’s wife called the police on him during an argument, there had been no assault during the incident.”
