Producer Sajid Nadiadwala will not let John Abraham’s knee injury affect his action film Dishoom, which was due to be filmed in Abu Dhabi in November.
Earlier this week, Abraham injured his knee while filming Force 2 in Budapest.
“We have just reversed the schedule. We will now film in Mumbai in November first and then shoot the action sequences later in February in Abu Dhabi. We will be there for 40 days then,” said Nadiadwala, over the phone from Mumbai. The swap will not affect the intended completion date set for February.
“Such schedule changes are a part of filmmaking. Even Kick [the Salman Khan blockbuster that he had produced] went through similar schedule changes. We had to swap shoots happening in London and Poland due to visa issues. Every film has its own issues and we deal with it,” said Nadiadwala. The producer claims that he hasn’t gone through any monetary losses due to the schedule swap and that all permissions for the February shoot in Abu Dhabi have been “taken care of”.
When tabloid! sought a comment from the local production company, TwoFour54, who are assisting the producers film Dishoom in the UAE, its spokesperson declined to comment.
