The discovery was made just a few hundred yards from Swift’s 11,000-square-foot mansion
A possible human leg bone was discovered this week near Taylor Swift’s Watch Hill estate, turning one of Rhode Island’s most exclusive enclaves into the unexpected center of a real-life mystery, according to reports.
Westerly police responded to a call Wednesday morning after someone reported finding what appeared to be a human bone along a beach path on Everett Avenue.
The remains were recovered and sent to the Rhode Island Medical Examiner’s Office for analysis and identification, according to a report from The Independent.
The discovery was made just a few hundred yards from “Holiday House,” Swift’s 11,000-square-foot mansion made famous by her track The Last Great American Dynasty.
The singer purchased the property in 2013 for $17.75 million and hosted a string of now-legendary Fourth of July parties there, often attended by A-list friends like Blake Lively and Gigi Hadid.
Authorities say no foul play is suspected, but the find has understandably left some locals unsettled.
Swift, who is reportedly investing in a $1.7 million renovation on the property—including a new kitchen, bedroom suite, and additional bathrooms—is not believed to be in Rhode Island at the time of the discovery.
