The Governator is back.

Arnold Schwarzenegger will return to the state capital in Sacramento, California, on Monday for two high-profile public events. He first will share the stage with the current governor, Democrat Jerry Brown, at a symposium focused on California’s fight against climate change.

Then he’ll head to the Capitol rotunda to unveil his official portrait.

Both events seek to highlight more positive aspects of the Republican’s two terms as California governor.

Schwarzenegger, who had promised to bring fiscal accountability to politics, left office in 2011 with a mixed record as the state faced a huge budget deficit. And in his last hours as governor, he commuted the involuntary-manslaughter sentence of the son of a political ally.

Since then, Schwarzenegger has returned to his Hollywood career.
